We had a very nice time here and will choose the place for future trips. Our kids and we greatly enjoyed being there. Location: the hotel was just next door to the Brown Pub over the road, market and the mountains. It also was to a resort area. The food in the attached restaurant was good.

I enjoyed the open kitchen and the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms. The warmth of the pub on a cold day was genuinely inviting.

The meals were delicious and the staff were mostly friendly.
Unfortunately, the noise from the pub was quite disruptive, especially on Saturday nights when live music kept going until early morning. It made it difficult to rest well after a day of skiing. The bed configuration was disappointing, as it consisted of two singles pushed together rather than a proper large double.

Clean rooms with great pub food and friendly staff. Kitchen facilities were handy and I loved hanging out on the sun terrace after a day out. Perfect spot right in the heart of Methven.
The bed setup could be a bit better and maybe they could provide more towels.

It is a charming pub with a fantastic selection of local beers and homely meals, and a warm atmosphere to enjoy after a day of activities!

missingWrote a review on 21 Marcomfortable friestasty chickenloud musicuncomfortable bedoutdated fittings
The noise level was quite disruptive, especially with the loud bar music going on until late. The large double bed was merely two singles pushed together, which wasn't very comfortable. Shower fittings were outdated, and the common kitchen area felt neglected, lacking proper cleanliness and maintenance.
